Brand New to Yoga or looking for a Refresh of your practice?
Yoga is for everyone—no matter your age, body shape, or fitness level. With regular
practice, yoga can help you feel more at ease in your body, calmer in your mind, and
steadier in daily life.
I offer two beginner-friendly courses on Thursday evenings at Yogasara which have been
running for nearly 9 years now!. Each is designed to give you a strong, supportive
foundation in yoga. Both courses focus on moving slowly and mindfully, taking time to
learn, repeat, and adjust each posture to suit your individual needs.
Each session begins with a guided meditation and breathing practice to help you settle in
and become present. We then move into postures, exploring them at a pace that allows for
understanding and adjustment. Every session ends with deep relaxation, allowing the
nervous system to reset.
You can sign up for just one course, or stay for both at a discounted rate. If you can’t make
your usual time one week, you’re welcome to attend the other session instead.
Option 1: 6:00 – 7:00 pm – The Sun Salutation A & B
A step-by-step introduction to Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)—a foundational sequence
that helps to connect breath with movement, build strength, and create a sense of flow. In
this course, we move slowly and mindfully, breaking down each posture to help you feel
stable, strong, and safe in your practice.
